Perhaps if someone is able to offer an alternative take on the story, they might care to drop a line or two here.Persolaisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04192014353722036319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2738735825185930519.post-18184910182628401822016-03-14T02:59:51.033+00:002016-03-14T02:59:51.033+00:00I don't believe that Poison story, I read the ...I don't believe that Poison story, I read the other day that Dior saw over 800 samples for the perfume because this perfume was created by an open call, and the formula that won was Fleicher's and they mentioned it came from X company I don't remember right now but it wasn't Givaudan. There is no honesty in this industry. But that doesn't help us come to terms with the destruction of so many classic scents.Persolaisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04192014353722036319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2738735825185930519.post-8089362359972737142012-06-27T19:23:01.717+01:002012-06-27T19:23:01.717+01:00What a great interview! My favorite part is Jean Guichard's note that great perfumes can arise as a result of restriction just as they can from excess.

I've heard so many times that less is more with writing. It makes me optimistic that the same concept applies to perfumery.Joanhttp://www.scentsate.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2738735825185930519.post-7779276939616369822012-06-27T19:06:07.061+01:002012-06-27T19:06:07.061+01:00Mimi, thanks very much indeed. Yes, Guichard and Fretay were certainly very diplomatic about IFRA... and by that I'm not trying to suggest that what they said isn't true.Persolaisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04192014353722036319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2738735825185930519.post-92103201543459351782012-06-27T16:18:41.610+01:002012-06-27T16:18:41.610+01:00Love this article, Persolaise !

They are quite positive . Thanks.Mimi Gardenianoreply@blogger.com
